1952 MARIA RUTZ moved the business to Düsseldorf
where she was primarily involved with furniture, paintings, sculptures and antique decorative arts.

End of the 50s she added for the first time ICONS to her program, and made them due to her personal fascination a few years later to her main speciality.
MARIA RUTZ introduced ICONS to the German market with numerous exhibitions all over Europe and consolidated catalogues, as it was her personal wish to prepar an understanding in the western world for the outstanding art of the cultural painting of the eastern church. She participated at the first art fair in Munich and is co-founder of the West German art fair in Cologne.

1960 her daughter ANITA joined the enterprise and became partner in 1967

1997, after 30 years at the Königsallee, the gallery moved to the current adress Schäferstrasse 10 adjacent to the Hofgarten in close proximity to the art museum KUNSTPALAST EHRENHOF.
